How we use your data

We store your email address and selected registers to provide account access. Newsletter subscriptions are a separate choice.

Your choices

With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits to public pages using cookies stored for up to 60 days. Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. Use “Analytics preferences” on a public page to change your choice. Declining removes this site’s Analytics cookies.

A separate preference cookie remembers your choice across getregisters.com and its register subdomains for up to one year after your last visit. It contains only your choice, not a visitor identifier. We also keep a local browser copy as a fallback.

We send the public page address without query strings and the referring website’s origin. We do not send email addresses, account pages, sign-in tokens, facility information or payment details. Unsubscribe from any newsletter or pause it in your account. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Account information

Saved profile names and attributes are used to match notices. Sign-in links and sessions expire. Each API key is limited to one register. Do not put resident, patient or child information in profile names.

Google sign-in provides your verified email address and Google account identifier to create or link your account.

Connecting an agent stores the registers and permissions you approve. Access follows your current subscription. Notification endpoints receive signed change notices containing record IDs; we store the endpoint and delivery results. Revoke agent access and disable notifications in your account.

Service records

We store subscription status, delivery results, security logs and usage records to run accounts and investigate failures. The payment provider handles payment details when billing is available.

Pausing a newsletter does not delete account records, service logs or source history.
